I am Sad

I know that this is a lame title for anything, but I cannot come up with any other way to express my thoughts right now. I am sad. I am sad that my students are switching classes on Monday. I am sad that I will not see their smiling (well, most of the time) faces anymore. I am sad that I will not witness those strange, strange conversations of the 2nd hour class. I am even sad that I will no longer have to repeat myself what seems like ten million times during my first period.

I am sad.

BUT...

I will look on the bright side of life (cue Monty Python music). It was truly my pleasure to teach such a wonderful group of students this semester. They made me laugh so much, and usually for something funny, not something sad that I have to laugh at to keep my sanity. They also challenged me daily. I wanted to be a better teacher for them. It was definitely never a dreaded feeling to come in to work.

Thank you for all that you guys and gals have taught me. And remember, I am always here to help with whatever you need. So, come by and visit every once in a while...

Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

Haha I might just join harrison on that :P
Hehe but in all honesty, thank you very much Mrs. Stoklosa for really teaching us useful things. I was so used to the typical English class that consisted of just reading frickin' Shakespeare and the Odyssey that I got accustomed to being annoyed at my English class and not expecting anything other than a research paper and a bunch of essays. But you really changed that perspective for me, and taught me a great deal of things as well. Really have to say I'm going to enjoy those random "crap talk" sessions we would have in 2nd hour, and our feeble attempts to make you laugh with our topic of choice haha.

I'll definitely make sure to pay you some visits every once in a while, and get to see how the noobie kids are doing haha.

Much luck this semester, and again, thank you.

Well you shouldnt be sad because you have me now, and i know that i'm already your favorite student, me and tommy. I'm sure with looking at the people in our class that we'll have strange class conversations so you shoulndt miss any of the old classes. =] I think you've already gotten mad at me once for having to repeat stuff, but thats why i'm your new favorite.

But i think you seem like a good teacher. I hope that i do good in your class, but its very interesting and i like the class dicutions that we have. With already only being in your class two weeks i went from reading 20 pgaes of the crucible in two hours to reading 20 pages in one hour. Oh and i didnt forget to copy my blog first this time. =]
